Programs and Services
Pre K Program
Ages 3-5 Sept. - June
Our unique educational environment ntegrates social and emotional development, open-ended learning opportunities, and personalized learning goals with each child. The limited child to teacher ratio also allows for strong relationships to develop between children, their teachers, and their peers. An emphasis on social skill building and self-competence will also help to prepare each child in our program to transition them to 5 year old kindergarten with confidence, independence, and excitement.
Before/After School Care
6:45 - 8:00 AM and 3:05 - 6:00 PM
Two Locations: Wales Elementary Campus and at our own center
Programming at Bright Ideas follows our philosophy that there are opportunities for learning everywhere. Children in ur care will be presented opportunities to engage in large and small group activities, skill building, sensory play, independent time, and outdoor activities. If a child is working on another project or homework that they are vested in, they will also be supported in those personal goals.
4K After Care
11:10 - 3:30 following our pre-k program or after arriving from anothe site
Whether students are at our center in the morning or arrive in the afternoon from Wales Elementary 4K (transportation provided), they begin a comprehensive afternoon with play time, lunch, outdoor activities, rest period, independent time, and large group activities. As with our own pre-k program, respectful communication and independence are themes emphasized throughout Bright Ideas.
We have staff onsite and coordinate with other educators in the area to match your child with a tutor that will design specific lessons to meet his or her needs. Reading, math, writing, grammar, phonics/spelling, and Spanish are areas we have worked with students on in the past. However, please let us know the specifics you are looking for and we will design a progam that fits for you and your child.
