We're There for You and Your Child

In our work, we put great focus on one thing - the welfare and education of your child. In order to properly encourage your child's personal, social, and academic development, our professional educators follow a unique pedagogic approach that combines academic excellence with a relaxed, choice-filled atmosphere to allow children to direct their own learning.

Our teachers have years of combined experience and regularly participate in professional development to always bring new ideas and input to their daily tasks.

Traci Fronk

Director, Co-Owner

Introduction

Over the past thirteen years, I have gained a comprehensive knowledge base of child care and education through my experiences with children and families in a wide variety of settings. I have taught in preschools, elementary schools, and just prior to Bright Ideas, worked as a middle school special education teacher for students with cognitive disabilities. Of course, much of my most valuable experience has been as a mother to my currently 10 year old and 7 year old daughters. Serving as teacher, director, and administrator at Bright Ideas over the past 5 1/2 years has been a uniquely fulfilling adventure that I look forward to continuing for many years.  I am also enjoying serving on the KM school board.

Julie Krill

Nature Based Pre-K Teacher, Co-Director

Introduction

I look forward to introducing BILC to Nature Based education this year.  As a nature based Director for the past two years I have had the opportunity to train staff and families on the daily rhythm and seasonal activities as well as sneak moments of connection with the children.  My joy lies in working outdoors with children as I did as a Waldorf substitute teacher and In-Home Child Care provider for years prior.

Moments of self-discovery and accomplishment are most endearing in my countless hours working with children -the simple pure joy of a proud smile is a treasure.  I am passionate about nature-based education and its ability to nurture the whole child.

In my free time I enjoy being with my family, especially when I get to go hiking, camping, crafting, or reading with my two boys (12, 7) and my dogs.  This year I hope to grow my skills as a gardener, as well as grow on my path of meditation, yoga and energy healing.
